Licensed Immigration Advisers in New Zealand are regulated under the Immigration Advisers Licensing Act 2007 and must comply with the Licensed Immigration Advisers Code of Conduct (2014). This Code sets out the professional, ethical and client‑care standards that advisers must follow when providing New Zealand immigration advice.

identifying and managing conflicts of interest
providing advice only within an adviser’s competence
cultural awareness and respect, including support with interpreters where needed
